Manufactured with strong and durable polyethylene, our 2 drum bunded work floor can hold up to 2 x 205 litre drums or 8 x 25 litre jerry cans. When using this work floor, it helps to reduce the risk of injuries within the workplace, this is because there is less chance of slipping on leaks from the containers, and the sump will hold all the leaks. It will help avoid environmental hazards and will give staff the improved peace of mind.
The work floor can be used for the safe containment of chemicals, oils, acids, alkalis and cleaning products among others. As well as these, it can be used for non-hazardous liquids.
The low profile design makes it easy to load and unload already heavy drums, helping to increase productivity within the workplace. The work floor can be connected to others to make a larger surface, depending on how many containers you have, thanks to our optional joining strip. To use the strips, simply place it in between the two work floors and place the grate back down.
A ramp can be used to help roll the drums onto the work floor, the ramp has a strip that can be placed over the threshold of the work floor so there is no gap in between the work floor and the ramp, allowing safe transportation.
The bunded work floor is quick and easy to clean too, lift the grate up and pour out the excess liquids. From here, start washing the sump down with a hose or cloth and it will be ready to use again within minutes.
